BRIGHTON CLADCO COMPOSITE DECKING INSTALLATION

Having previously worked for our client (click to view previous work) building a new stoned patio area, he invited us back to fit some composite decking and composite frame on an old patio area of the garden.  

In our last post we covered day 1 and 2 which was the laying of the subframe and levelling the area. 

It’s been a busy few days here at Sussex Decking, and today we reached the exciting stage of fitting the decking boards on our latest project.

The subframe was carefully constructed over the last couple of days, creating a strong, level and durable foundation ready for the new decking. Getting the subframe right is an important part of any decking installation, as it provides the support needed to ensure the finished deck looks great and stands the test of time.

Today, we returned to begin fitting the Cladco composite decking boards. Once the first boards were positioned and secured, the rest of the installation quickly started to take shape. We always take care to achieve neat, consistent spacing and clean lines throughout the installation, paying particular attention to the finishing details around the edges.

Composite decking is a fantastic option for creating a stylish outdoor space with much less ongoing maintenance than traditional timber decking. Cladco boards offer a modern appearance while providing a durable surface that is designed for outdoor use, making them an excellent choice for gardens and entertaining areas.

It’s always satisfying to see a project transform from a bare area into a finished outdoor space, and this deck has made a huge difference already. With the subframe completed and the Cladco composite boards now fitted, our latest Sussex decking project is ready for the finishing touches.
